CBD vs THC: The Difference That Decides Everything

CBD and THC are the two most famous compounds from the cannabis plant family — and confusing them is the single most common misunderstanding in this industry. They are chemically related, and behaviourally opposites.

The short version

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the compound responsible for the «high» associated with marijuana. CBD (cannabidiol) is non-intoxicating — it does not produce a high, which is precisely why it can be sold as a food supplement across much of the world while THC remains tightly controlled.

Hemp vs marijuana

Both are cannabis plants; the difference that defines them is THC content. Hemp is cannabis bred to contain only trace THC, and it is where nearly all CBD products begin — including ours. Canasity oils are made from US-grown organic hemp, extracted with supercritical CO₂.

What «THC not detected» actually means
