WHAT IS CBD?

CBD is short for cannabidiol. It is a non-psychoactive extract from the cannabis plant.

CBD is suggested to support a wide variety of health conditions and symptoms. This supplement is used to manage neurological disorders such as epilepsy, anxiety and depression. It is also used to alleviate pain, inflammation, insomnia and more.

There are many different ways to use CBD products. You can find CBD in the form of oils, capsules, topicals, edibles and more.

CBD has many well-documented health benefits. You may have read or heard about the use of CBD by people suffering from pain, anxiety, insomnia, fibromyalgia, arthritis and a wide variety of other conditions.

The main benefits of CBD include relieving pain and inflammation, supporting mental health and well-being, improving skin health, protecting the brain, supporting digestive function, the cardiovascular system and reproductive health. It also regulates metabolism and hormones.

Lower concentrations (10-15%) are ideal for people who are ‘new’ to CBD treatment or for people who want to feel a general sense of well-being. Stronger concentrations (20-30%) are perfect for those of you who are experiencing more severe symptoms or conditions such as diabetes, heart problems, Parkinson’s or tumors.

No. THC is the psychoactive cannabinoid that has hallucinogenic effects. Our CBD products have no psychoactive properties.

Most research has concluded that the use of CBD products is perfectly safe with no known side effects. However, if you are being treated for another chronic illness, please consult your doctor.

An effective dose can range from 10 drops of CBD a day to 30. Administer sublingually. Wait 30-60 seconds before swallowing. Be sure to start with a small amount and increase gradually. Ingest a few drops during the day rather than a large dose. Use the same dose for 14 days. Observe the effects and, if necessary, ask our consultants to adjust your quantity.

All our patients are unique! Therefore, every body will react differently to a standard dose of CBD. Since we recommend a customized treatment for each individual case, we suggest starting with the lowest percentage and dosage and gradually increasing to a comfortable level until you experience the desired result.

For some symptoms, you will immediately know when you have reached the right dose when you notice an improvement in symptoms.

Other times, the benefits of CBD can last for several weeks – so we recommend increasing the suggested dose of CBD depending on your weight and desired level of effects, and staying consistent for several weeks.

During this time, monitor your symptoms and adjust your dose accordingly.

Our clients use CBD two or three times a day. They may take one dose in the morning, another at lunch and a third after dinner. Some will skip the midday dose and only take it in the morning and evening.

The number of doses you need depends on the condition you’re using CBD for. For example, people suffering from arthritis will probably want to use CBD several times a day to provide symptomatic relief throughout the day. Others, who use CBD to aid sleep, might want to use CBD just once before bedtime.

The effects of CBD usually last around 4-6 hours after a single dose. If you take CBD regularly, your blood CBD levels will remain elevated for longer periods of time. After 2 weeks of consistent use, the effects of CBD will usually last for around 12 hours after administration. CBD can remain detectable in the body for up to 7 days from a single dose. If you are a regular user, CBD may remain detectable in the body for up to 2 weeks.

THC is the psychoactive chemical that causes hallucinations. At the other extreme, CBD does not cause psychoactive effects. To be legal, CBD products must contain less than 0.2% THC, therefore our CBD products allow you to experience the benefits of the other cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant without experiencing psychoactive effects.

Thousands of scientific studies have already been conducted specifically on CBD, proving its effectiveness from a medical perspective. We warmly invite you to the Blog section for more information on this topic.

CBD blocks pain by inhibiting the inflammatory process, regulating pain receptors and promoting faster recovery of damaged tissue. CBD’s effects on pain are fast-acting, usually within 45 minutes of use and lasting from about 4 to 6 hours. The more often you use CBD, the stronger its impact on pain, as it activates pain-modulating receptors in the spine.

The response lies in the specific receptors with which CBD interacts. CBD is very different from other health supplements: it targets a series of receptors that make up the endocannabinoid system, which is involved in hundreds of different functions in the human body. By targeting this wide-reaching system, CBD is able to interact with every organ in the human body, managing every type of pain, inflammation, anxiety, insomnia and more.

Hemp seed oil is very different from CBD oil and is not a suitable alternative. Hemp seed oil is made from the seeds of the cannabis plant. The seeds are rich in phytonutrients and omega-6 fatty acids, but contain no active cannabinoids or terpenes. CBD oil is made from the leaves and flowers of the hemp plant. It is rich in phytonutrients, cannabinoids, terpenes and other medicinal compounds.

Canasity is a trusted CBD industry company made up of healthcare professionals with extensive experience in the medical industry.

Our premium, broad-spectrum, hemp-derived oil is award-winning as the best CBD oil in Colorado. These results come from a careful and carefully planned process of growing the plant from seed to extraction.

Our highly concentrated formulations are designed to enhance the potential therapeutic effect.

The ‘weed’ (cannabis) smell you expect is not from CBD, but from the presence of THC and terpenes. THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), terpenes and CBD (cannabidiol) are the compounds in the Cannabis sativa plant. As you know, THC produces a feeling of euphoria. During the extraction process, we remove THC and some of the terpenes. Canasity’s CBD oils contain no THC at all (0%), so they won’t smell like weed at all.

The carrier oil is what gives a product its taste. There are various carrier oils on the market, such as coconut oil (MCT), hemp seed oil (hemp seed contains neither CBD nor THC) or olive oil. Hemp seed oil or olive oil have a strong, earthy taste and a cloudy appearance, unlike MCT coconut oil which is colorless. Studies show that CBD is most effective in combination with MCT coconut oil. The carrier oil used in Canasity products is MCT fractionated coconut oil, which is designed to be tasteless and odorless and colorless. Many people who have bought Canasity oil prefer to add it to drinks or smoothies, which is why using a tasteless product is particularly convenient.
