CBD Oil Strengths Explained: How to Choose Between 10% and 40%

The percentage on a CBD oil label answers one question: how much CBD is in each drop. A 10% oil carries 1,000 mg of CBD per 10 ml; a 40% oil carries 4,000 mg in the same bottle. Same formula, four times the concentration.

What the numbers mean in practice

Across the Canasity range, every strength uses the identical broad-spectrum extract in organic MCT oil — the only variable is concentration: 10% = 1,000 mg (10 ml) / 3,000 mg (30 ml) · 15% = 1,500 / 4,500 mg · 20% = 2,000 / 6,000 mg · 30% = 3,000 / 9,000 mg · 40% = 4,000 / 12,000 mg.

The three-step choice

1. Match your experience. New to CBD? Start at 10% or 15% and learn how your body responds. Already familiar? Go straight to 20%, 30% or 40% — there is no rule that says you must climb the ladder.

2. Stronger goes further. Higher concentrations deliver more CBD per drop, so the bottle lasts longer. Per milligram of CBD, our 30% and 40% oils are the best value in the range — this is why experienced users rarely go back down.

3. Fine-tune from there. Give any strength two weeks of consistent use, then adjust up or down. The right strength is the one that fits your routine and your budget per milligram.

A note on “stronger is better”

Stronger is not better — it is simply more concentrated. The right question is how concentrated you want each drop to be. Two drops of 40% deliver what eight drops of 10% deliver.
